Vision is a comprehensive range of products designed to take the frustrations out of installations.

Our comprehensive range of connectors are designed to make cable termination straight forward and to reduce continual maintenance.

Using those modules with Phoenix connectors and our high quality colour coded cables, your on-site installation time will be reduced - as will future maintenance time. If you need to terminate moulded connectors (eg HDMI) - no problem - use our range of plug and play connectors.

In addition to cable termination, Vision offers audio systems which are ideal for meeting rooms, training rooms and schools. These modules use the latest in audio technology and provide sufficient output to power 4 ceiling speakers or two wall mounted speakers. These systems are virtually tamper proof - no more wasted call outs!

Finally Vision has a simple wall mounted control system for managing the core functions of projectors - no more lost remotes and climbing on tables to start the projector!

Modules available

• Single phono

For use with RG59 coaxial cable for composite video signal. Also known as a Cinch or RCA connector. Ordering code: 1643910

• 2-Phone with volume

For use with stereo audio cable. Volume pot provides convenient control of volume, especially useful when using powered speakers that are not in easy reach.  Ordering code: 1643911

• 3.5MM Minijack with volume

For use with stereo audio cable. Volume pot provides convenient control of volume, especially useful when using powered speakers that are not in easy reach. Ordering code: 1643912

• 3-Phono

This 3-phono has interchangeable coloured rings to denote yellow / red / white (for composite video and audio), or red / green / blue (for component video). Also known as a Cinch or RCA connector. Ordering code: 1643926

• 6.3MM Jack

Also known and a 1/4" Jack, this socket is commonly used in professional audio applications for stereo or balanced audio signal. Ordering code: 1643927

• White blank

Simple blank modules for blanking off unused slots in the surround.  Ordering code: 1643928

• BNC

Commonly used for composite video signal transmission. It's robust design means it has a better-suited impedance. Ordering code: 1643929

• F Aerial

EU type Female to female F barrel. F connectors have a pin and threaded locking mechanism . Uses metric thread type. Ordering code: 1661901

• HDMI

Female socket on the PCB at rear allows easy connection of an HDMI cable via the rear. Carries digital audio and video over one cable. Ordering code: 1643913 

• RF Aerial

With integrated female to female barrel. RF connectors are used for aerials, and are commonly found on the rear of VCRs. Ordering code: 1643914  

• RJ45/RJ11

 Shielded female to female ethernet socket, which is backwards compatible with RJ11 phone jacks. Ordering code: 1643915

• Dual RJ45/RJ11

Two shielded female to female ethernet sockets, which are backwards compatible with RJ11 phone jacks. Ordering code: 1643916 

• Serial Male

9-pin D-sub connector commonly used for control applications. Ordering code: 1643931

• 4-Bare wire terminal

Used for speaker cable, these spring terminals are quick and secure. Ordering code: 1643932 

• Speakon

Also known as NL-4, this is a versatile professional audio connector exclusively used for speaker cable. Ordering code: 1643933  

• SVideo and 2-Phono

Useful for connecting a DVD player to a projector, S-video far superior to composite video. This also has dual phono for stereo audio. Ordering code: 1643917  

• USB A (on front) to B

This has a "B" type socket on the rear as found on a as found on a printer chassis, and an "A" type socket on the front laptop chassis. Ordering code: 1643918 

• USB B (on front) to A

This has an "A" type socket on the rear as found on a laptop chassis, and a "B" type socket on the front as found on a printer chassis. Ordering code: 1643919

• Techconnect Control

Control your environment with this new universal IR remote control module. The Techconnect Control takes over the core functions of the projector remote control, meaning no more losing remotes and no more confusion over how to use your expensive AV equipment.
Using the Techconnect Control in every AV installation to standardize the way the equipment is used and controlled will result in the users growing more confident and comfortable with the equipment.

The Techconnect Control comes with its own single-gang surround and backbox, or you can mount it in a double-gang surround and position it next to other modules. Being part of the Techconnect family, you can have all your input connectors centralized on a Techconnect faceplate right next to your control module. Perfect for training rooms, meeting rooms, boardrooms, and classrooms.

• Techconnect Amp

 The new Techconnect Amp module achieves 2 x 20w RMS (at 8 ohms) by using the latest Texas Instruments digital amplifier chip. Use of digital technology allows us to fit the amplifier into a Techconnect module.

Featuring circuit protection, two stereo inputs, and an external lap-top style power supply. This amplifier is perfectly matched to either the SP-1300 wall speakers (available in black or white), or the CS-1300 ceiling speakers. (see sound systems) It will go down to 4 ohms allowing you to power up to four low-impedance speakers if you need to.

This is easy to install with as the inputs and outputs are all via removable phoenix connectors. The short input cables included are typically connected to the rear of adjacent input modules on the Techconnect, or you can indeed connect a source directly.

This product is perfect when you don't have furniture to sit a normal amplifier on or in, and because it is mounted to the wall and looks like part of the connector faceplate it is much less obvious as a target for theft.

It is close at hand if volume adjustments need to be made, making it perfect for training rooms, boardrooms, and classrooms.
