Solution Technologies (Pty) Limited was founded in Randburg in 1988, and has been providing audio visual products and services throughout Southern Africa for 21 years. Our main objective is to provide high quality multimedia and presentation technology at affordable prices. Since inception we have grown into a dynamic distributor, providing a broad range of audio visual products and boast an installed base of tens of thousands of units. Many of these sales are from referrals and blue chip companies across all industries as well as educational organisations are opting for these outstanding products, which have worldwide acceptance as 'best of breed'. Products and MembershipsThroughout the years our directors and staff have undertaken study and business trips to all parts of the world to bring you the latest developments in this very fast moving industry. This has enabled us to link up with overseas suppliers of the finest presentation equipment, and brand names like Epson, InFocus, Toshiba, Hitachi, Teamboard, Elmo, Wolfvision, Vision, SP Controls, JK Screens, Anchor and Projecta form part of our product range. These products are world leaders in their own right and are renowned for their quality and performance at reasonable prices. In addition to being members of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce, we are members of Infocomm and ADESA. Our membership of these associations and our regular visits to BETT and audio visual trade shows, in many parts of the world, have resulted in a professional company with trained staff who understand the industry and its products. .
Technical Support & BackupWhen making an investment in presentation products, backup and support are the key. We are constantly in touch with our manufacturers and strive to give you the best and most cost effective maintenance and support. We have been appointed the authorised repair centre for each of our suppliers and maintain appropriate levels of spares and accessories for all the products we distribute. In addition we have installation teams who provide high quality installation of products in boardrooms, meeting rooms, training environments and auditoriums. To further our ability to service our customers we opened a branch office in Cape Town during 1998 thereby giving our national customers direct access to our full range of services in the Western Cape, whilst our customers in Kwa-Zulu Natal are serviced directly from our Johannesburg offices. BEE ProfileThe company has embraced the spirit of the BEE initiative and the requirements of the latest DTI guidelines. The company is 25,1% BEE owned and has a BEE director on the main board.
